Heartsavers CPR AED - Level C

Learn to save a life with our charity CPR courses accredited by the Canadian Heart & Stroke and the American Heart Association!

Each April, August, and December, Cranston Ridge Medical Clinic (CRMC) teaches Heartsaver CPR AED - Level C at the Beth Tzedec synagogue, on 1325 Glenmore Trail SW, in Calgary. The minimum donation to take part at the course taught at this location is $100, and it is devolved entirely to charity. Only a maximum of 12 students may sign up for each session. The certificate is valid for 24 months, and may be renewed before its expiry date.

To sign up for this course, follow the link to the website of the Canadian Magen David Adom and contact Sharon Fraiman. CRMC does not accept payments for courses offered at charitable events, therefore, you may not sign up through CRMC. The next session will be held in August 2024.

WHAT TO WEAR FOR THE COURSE:

Tracksuits and gym shoes are best; wear something comfortable, you will be moving a lot!

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:

Anyone interested in attending may do so since this is done for charity and for fun, however, in order to be able to certify, you must be physically fit enough to perform repetitive physical movements that require considerable effort and be fluent in English. If you cannot sit on your knees, you can perform all activities either sitting on a chair or standing. If you are unable to perform such physical activity or you are not fluent in English but still wish to come and spend time with us and contribute to saving lives in Israel, feel free to come even though you understand that you may not obtain a certificate at the end of the training. Come for the fellowship and fun anyway!

WHAT TO BRING TO THE COURSE:

All materials are provided by Cranston Ridge Medical Clinic and exceed the standards of quality and safety imposed by Heart & Stroke Canada and the American Heart Foundation.
